K so the next step once your dog is sitting, the dog now needs to learn to DOWN. 

There are two ways to do it. 

First way (generally used with puppies):

-	Make the dog sit. 

-	Once the dog is sitting (on your left hand side), then bend down and take the dogs 2 front legs and gently pull them out and slowly lower the dog to the ground.

K guys so once you have got your dog walking on a leash, then its time to start the obedience training. 



1.	Put the dog on a collar and leash. 

2.	Make sure the dog is on your LEFT HAND SIDE.

3.	You will need to take the lead and make it short (roll it up in your right hand)

Ok, this is for those of you who have a dog/puppy that has never had a collar and never walked on a leash.

the first time you put a collar and leash on a pupp/dog, you will find out that the dog/puppy will fight and pull and squeal to get free, and alot of people panic and choose to take it off. Dont!



1. First you put the collar only on the dog. And once it is on, leave the dog to walk around and do its own thing. This shouldn't take long at all, about 15 minutes or so.
