I want the upvotes to be better displayed, not like the old red and green bars but with green thumbs up and red thumbs down - then a counter per post! Plus if a post has above 5 upvotes it should have a special colour background or the comment should be hiddden if it has 5 downvotes

Ok another idea I have is this:

Each post has a post number then when you comment you can click reply then when you post it would say something like this @1234 Laney and then you can post.

My thinking behind this is that every time somebody replies to a post they quote that person's post, then you get a whole cluttered look, specifically when you comment about a pic.

BTW how far are we on the thumbs up idea?

dont know if this is a great idea. if you hust getting a ref number when you quote some of us are lazey and wont go back to check which post number is being refered and what the story line is. just way to confusing. like now i quoted you you see above what was said. if it just read

post 1473

and i hadnt been on the site at all id be like, **Bad** this **stinky** and leave. not saying its a terrible idea just saying im lazy!! haha

I actually agree with Saffa about the second point piesank i have limited to quotes to 5 so it should never get too messy but makes it easier to follow up on !

I don't like this though maybe if you can put a button in it then to see the actual quote or something

this is actually a great example thanks Piesank. i cant see the original post Gunth made. it just had his username and post number. so now i must look for his post. way too much effort for me. where as if you have the whole quote you can read it in front of you. this is my 2cents...

no i dont agree, it is easier to just read it like it is, espesially if u missed half the convo

But some of these quotes go deeper than Inception!
