Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast show host Darren Scott has been accused of making racist remarks towards a woman colleague, according to a report on Wednesday.

The radio station's spokeswoman, Jenny Griesel, confirmed to Beeld newspaper that a case of misconduct was being investigated against him.

"Jacaranda 94.2 is aware of the fact that a complaint has been laid against him," said Griesel.

I basically heard on twitter, he said the K word in response to a colleague who had not yet paid back money that was owed even though he had bought a new house and car... he is blaming his drunken state for the slur.

At the end of the day what he said was wrong but how many whites and non whites say racial slurs to eachother DAILY! I mean really... Rooinek is not considered that bad when said to a white person yet the K word is used and the country jumps on that bandwagon too.
